Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25, 1970) is an American former tight end in the NFL. Gonzalez played for the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. Gonzalez is regarded as among the greatest tight ends of all time. In addition to being the leader in receiving yards, and the third in total receptions, Gonzalez also was the NFL tight end who had the most receptions.

Gonzalez has been an anchor on FOX NFL KICKOFF for the past few years. FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame show that precedes FOX NFLSUNDAY. It airs at 11:45 am ET on Sundays during NFL season.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract for Atlanta Falcons to run for two seasons and $14 million on March 15, 2013. This was despite being aware that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire at the end of 2012 NFL football season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season was the last as NFL receiving yard leader.
